The UTA Miler Course
There's a reason Hoka is the title sponsor for this new UTMB World Trail: the epic views it boasts. It's a 100-miler course with an epic 7,290+ meters of elevation gain. But that's not the best of it. The UTA Miler has jaw-dropping views that will no doubt take your breath away (they certainly do for us). It starts at Blackheath and then follows with a climb through the captivating Grose Valley.
Highlights of this trail are the Grand Canyon, with 360-degree panoramic views at the top of Lockley's Pylon. Next, the Hydro Majestic Hotel overlooks the Megalong Valley, and a connection with the UTA100 course at Narrow provides an epic mix of single-track and wide trails. Then, following that, the emotion-evoking Blue Mountains National Park!
Then, near the finish line at Scenic World, runners see 951 Furber Steps and a challenging climb that adds a definitive feature to the course! If you love a challenge, the course has over 2,000 stairs, ladders, and technical single-track sections, making it challenging and technical.
It's tough, rewarding, and one of the most stunning trails out there! This isn't just a race; it's rewarding and one of the most stunning, unforgettable trails you'll ever want to run, a pure adventure for your soul that will cling to.
